The first stop on the Real Talk Drives Real Change tour is in Washington, D.C., where panelists will discuss higher education as well as the ongoing debate between Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominately White Institutions (PWIs). In this conversation, we’re tackling higher education and increased access for people of color. Be it HBCU, PWI, or trade. Real Change starts with you! Policy/Justice Reform
Atlanta serves as the next stop, where the conversation will turn toward policy and justice reform as panelists break down the power of one’s own platform and raise awareness of the importance of local voting while looking at high-profile cases as well as the impact of the local elections. The Real Talk Drives Real Change tour pulls up in Philadelphia to tackle the very real issue of mental health and raise awareness around the topic. Our panel will discuss science, therapy, spirituality, and ask how they can co-exist for people of color. This meeting of great minds will be followed by a live performance by Coco Jones. Financial Freedom
The final stop on The Real Talk Drives Real Change tour is in Houston, where the panel discussion turns to the topic of financial freedom and how to achieve such liberty when there are systemic structural barriers designed to prevent people of color from reaching that level of success. The Black Student Fund
The Black Student Fund (BSF) provides essential advocacy, academic and retention support to academically motivated African American and other underserved students to facilitate their access, admission and successful matriculation and graduation from member schools. BSF partners with member schools to provide financial assistance, as well as instruction, evaluations, feedback and monitoring necessary to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a supportive and responsive environment.

Urban Creators
The Urban Creators is a platform for radical and collaborative imagination. Since 2010 we have used food, art, and education as tools to nurture resilience and self-determination in our neighborhood. Now, we are supporting the emergence of a new generation of Urban Creators, organizers, artists, growers, and local businesses who are working to build equity and collective liberation in our communities.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorrority Incorperated
Houston Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter (HMAC) was chartered by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in October of 1974. Since its inception, the Chapter has been actively involved in supporting local agencies, and sponsoring community workshops, a variety of awareness forums, health fairs, and educational opportunities for the members for the Greater Houston community, with specific emphasis on our youth.

Houston HBCU Alumni Association, Incorporated is a non-profit 501 c (3) organization. It is a consortium of Houston area based alumni from historically black colleges and universities that are located throughout the country. The associations prior name was the Houston Coalition of Black Alumni Associations, Inc. which was incorporated on December 1,1986 and gained its 501 c (3) tax exempt status on April 17,1990.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc,
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is a non-profit organization that is divided into eight intercontinental regions and 800+ Chapters located in the USA, Africa, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. The Community Service Programs of Lambda Zeta Chapter, located in Greater Houston, relies on fundraisers, grants, and donations from generous donors to meet our goal of “Helping Other People Excel.”, referred to as Z-Hope, the National Service Program of the sorority. Locally, we annually sponsor and/or participate in over 6,026 service hours in programs, projects and initiatives including the following: The Community Services of Lambda Zeta Chapter, a 501(c) (3), strengthens the charitable efforts within the Greater Houston area.
